Dear Parents/Guardians:

The weather is cooling down and in the blink of an eye, the snow will be on the ground and our winter wonderland will be here!!   Our first ski/snowboard trip to the Peak will be on Friday, January 6th.   The bus will take our club every Friday in January and February. Students in grades 5 through 8 are invited to ride the bus if he/she has purchased a pass through the club.  Additional family members can also purchase passes through our club. The “Once a Week” Friday night pass will cost 215$ this season.  That is a 15$ savings!   If you choose the “Infinity” and “Edge” passes, you will receive a 10$ discount. The link below will reflect your savings from nonclub members purchasing directly from the Peak.

  1. ***ATTENTION*** Please visit the site below to purchase your son/daughter’s pass or to purchase passes for the entire family.  The deadline is November 10th for discount!

  1. If you purchase the “Once a Week Friday” pass, lessons are included. Choose either 5:30 or 6:30.   Beginners should choose 6:30 so they have plenty of time to get ready, as the bus arrives to the Peak at 5:20. Although many returning members feel they won’t benefit from weekly lessons, they are strongly encouraged.
  2. By joining the Elementary/Middle School ski/snowboarding club, you are agreeing to follow all school rules.  Please fill out the permission slip, sign, and return to Mrs. Sirianni by November 11th. See Mrs. Sirianni for this permission slip.
  3. Ski/Snowboarding equipment is available to rent through the peak.
  4. Please also remember – use of a helmet is mandatory.!!  If your child is seen NOT wearing one, he/she will lose his/her membership for the remainder of the season.  Helmet rentals are available through the Peak.
  5. My first way to communicate with you is through Remind.  Please text the message @376964g to the number 81010.
  6. PLEASE NOTE – ALTHOUGH WE HOPE TO GET ALL OUR 8 SCHEDULED WEEKS IN, THERE IS ALWAYS A POSSIBILITY THAT WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL PREVENT US FROM DOING SO

If you have any additional questions, please e-mail me at: ksirianni@swcsk12.org.  I will be holding a brief parent meeting on Thursday, October 13th at 7:00 in the Middle School cafeteria for previous and new club members who would like additional information.

Sincerely,

Kay Sirianni (Ski Club Advisor)
